High Level Forum on Risk-Based Auditing.

The Internal Audit Agency (IAA) in collaboration with the World Bank is organising a High Level Forum (HLF) on Risk-Based Audit.
The purpose of the High Level Forum is to consult, educate, build support as well as obtain advice and concerns of key stakeholders for the practice of risk based internal auditing in MDAs and MMDAs.
The High Level Forum (HLF) is necessitated by the growing demand for accountability and the need for identification and mitigation of key risks, as well as improvement in the management of scarce resources.
Participants expected at the Forum are Ministers of State, Chief Directors, Heads and Senior staff of MDAs/MMDAs and Heads of IAUs. The forum is scheduled for the 24th of June 2010 and the venue is Alisa Hotel. North Ridge.
