Canada Partners Ghana in Risk Management

The Internal Audit Agency will receive a team from the Corporate Internal Audit Services of the Government of Alberta, Canada from 13th – 19th June 2010.
The Internal Audit Agency, working in collaboration with the Institute of Public Administration of Canada under the Democratic Governance Program, will assist the Agency to build capacity to enhance the individual staff and institutional capacity of the Government of Ghana’s Internal Audit Agency, ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) and the metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies (MMDAs) to establish integrated risk management into decision-making processes that improve government accountability through partnership, technical assistance and knowledge sharing with other jurisdictions.
As part of the visit, the Internal Audit Agency-Alberta Team will pay a working visit to some selected Government institutions.
